How do I love thee, Hemp? Let me count the ways..... My family and I use Hemp Seed foods, beverages, skin/hair care and cannabidiol health supplements every day. Hemp is relatively new to the American health-conscious public and most people don't know that Hemp Seed products and Hemp Seed Oil are completely legal, nutritious, delicious and can be enjoyed in your daily meals and body care. Below you'll learn about my favorite ways to incorporate Hemp Seed food products in your most-loved family recipes.
Hemp Seed Butter
This nut-free butter is yummy on fruit, toasted bread and crackers, in smoothies and can be used as a hummus or mayonnaise alternative. Hemp Seed Butter is peanut-dairy-allergen-free so it's safe to take to school or work. My favorite Hemp Seed Butter trick is making instant Hemp Seed Milk! Combine 2 - 4 tablespoons of Hemp Seed Butter with 8 ounces of cold water in a blender and mix for a few seconds. Then pour into a glass, over cereal or use as a dairy alternative. The green color of Hemp Seed Butter means it's loaded with phytonutrients!
Hemp Seed Flour
This gluten-free flour alternative is green and nutty. Replace 50% of the total amount of flour needed in your favorite bread, pasta, cookie or muffin recipes. I love making Hemp Seed flour tortillas for lunch and breakfast.

Hemp Seed Protein Powder
Our Hemp Seed Protein Powder contains 50% easily-digestible protein and goes great in all smoothie recipes. You can mix a few tablespoons in your breakfast porridge of rolled oats or add it to soup for dinner. Hemp Seed Protein Powder can also be used as a flour-substitute in your favorite baking recipes; just replace 25% of the total amount of flour called for in your recipes with Hemp Seed Protein Powder.
Hulled Hemp Seeds/Hemp Hearts
Hulled Hemp Seeds taste like a combination of pine nuts and unshelled sunflower seeds.Their nutty flavor makes them a perfect addition to soups, salads, stir-fry, noodles, vegan puddings, all-natural oatmeal, or greek yogurt. Add a 1/4 cup of Hulled Hemp Seeds into the batters of baked goods like quick-breads, cookies, brownies, granola mixes and muffins. Hulled Hemp Seeds are so good, you can eat them right out of the bag!
Hemp Seed Oil
Also known as a "superfood," Hemp Seed Oil is a great source of Omega essential fatty acids. Say goodbye to fish oil and fishy burps! You can take 1-2 tablespoons of Hemp Seed Oil by mouth and receive the perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 EFAs. Hemp Seed Oil's extra nutty flavor of pine nuts and walnuts goes great in dips and favorite salad dressing recipes. I enjoy adding this oil to marinade recipes for vegetables, chicken, fish, pork or beef. Use Hemp Seed Oil instead of vegetable oil when baking your favorite breads, corn bread, or cookies. Just don't use it for stir-frying or deep-frying as it will break and lose its health benefits. Hemp Seed Oil is a delicious alternative for olive oil and perfect for making mayonnaise! Yum!
There really isn't anything that you can't make better by adding Hemp Seeds and Hemp Seed Oils.
Hemp! Hemp! Hooray!
