How You Can Use Hemp Oil For Pain

When you're living with pain, even day-to-day tasks can be exhausting. Chronic pain affects approximately 100 million Americans. This is more than cancer, heart disease, and diabetes combined.

A 2006 survey from the pain foundation found that 51% of respondents using opioids said they had little or no control over their pain. 60% said it was severely impacting their overall well-being and quality of life.

But this may be about to change. Did you know that thousands of people are using help oil for pain? They're finally finding relief from daily struggles with pain, and you can too.

Hemp Oil and Pain Relief

Hemp oil is harvested from select types of Cannabis plants. These plants grow taller than most other Cannabis plants and have a much lower concentration of THC.

Hemp oil has been extracted for centuries, but it has long been controversial due to its association with Cannabis and the "War on Drugs".

Hemp oil is an excellent anti-inflammatory. It also has many other therapeutic properties and health benefits such as:

  • Cardioprotective
  • Skin regenerative
  • Antioxidant
  • Antifungal
  • Antiviral
  • Antibacterial

Hemp oil is processed in a number of different ways. When it's cold pressed, it's a dark green liquid with a nutty, grassy flavor. Refined hemp oil is colorless and almost flavorless, although it also lacks many of the nutrients found in unrefined hemp oil.

Some people are concerned that using hemp oil for pain could get them fired if they need a drug test. Others are worried that they may end up high. Neither of these things will happen.

It's important to remember that "Medical Marijuana" is very different to hemp oil. People who are using hemp oil for pain are using it without THC. THC makes you high, while CBD (Cannabidiol) is both pain-relieving and mood-enhancing.
