Brad, the Chief Hemp Officer of Hippie Butter Hemp Seeds, cooks up a batch of his favorite Hulled Hemp Seed Granola. Easy to make, lasts a long time and everyone LOVES the taste.
Hi, I'm Brad I'm the founder and CEO of Hippie Butter Hemp Seeds. Today I want to teach you all how to make my favorite granola recipe using 1/2 cup of Hippie Butter Hulled Hemp Seeds, 1/4 cup of Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Oil, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds and 4 cups dried oats.
Take 4 cups of dried oats and spread them on a 13" by 9" cookie sheet and toast for 10 minutes at 300 degrees. Next what you want to do is to take your pumpkin seeds and spread them out evenly on the cookie sheet over the toasted oats. Then take your sunflower seeds and spread them out evenly. Take your hulled hemp seeds and spread them out. Now stir this mixture real well.
The reason why I LOVE this mixture so much is it has all the amino acids that you need as well as all the Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) that your body cannot make on its own. These are the nutrients that make you so healthy and keep you in a good mood... and it's THC free!
Now once you have all of your seeds and oats nicely mixed together, put them aside for a moment. Then take your 1/2 cup of honey and microwave it for about a minute to a minute and 1/2 until it's nice and hot, but don't over heat it. Pour that warm honey into a bowl with the 1/4 cup of Hemp Seed Oil and stir well.
Take the honey and hemp seed oil mixture and drizzle over the granola mixture on the cookie sheet. Now mix this up real well so everything is completely coated.
Once you have this all mixed up, put it back in the oven at 300 degrees and bake it for around 20 - 25 minutes. Stir it every 5 - 10 minutes and place it back into the oven.
We cooked our hemp seed granola mixture for 25 minutes and took it out of the oven, let it cool down to room temperature and then we broke it up into these bite-sized pieces.
Now I'm ready to serve it to all my friends.
